Meeting #35 Review 

"White Day"

"Neko not understand. Neko need more clarification."

Meeting nr. 35. What the hell did we do again? Oh, right. After most everyone recovered from their post-Valentine's day depression, we met up with friends and discussed various important issues relating to the welfare of the human species and our role in advancing mankind. ... We didn't do that, did we... ? Curses! Anyway, the usual happened, we hung around with friends, talked, cracked jokes, discussed the most recent video game, and engaged in friendly banter. Casual conversation ensued and soon everyone retreated to their own private world, inviting two to three fellows inside their glamurous lil' realm that is their mind and soul. Can you tell that i completely forgot most of what happened during this meeting? *sigh*

""Is this real life? Am i just a fiction of my own imagination? Do we dare to dream? Would i be justified in molesting a porcupine? Pickles!"

Since there wasn't enough time at the previous meeting, my game was postponed to this one. Some were excited about it, others less so but stuck around, others were uninterested, others more left during the game itself. Everyone who participated was tasked with creating their own character, wich would then be available for purchase via bidding. Not everyone's character got to be read, since we ran out of time. However, i suppose we all had a good time, and had a few notable laughs here and there. That's all that really matters, right?

Honestly, i can't remember anything else that would qualify as out of the ordinary. We played "Ninja" (for the love of all that is holy, i implore you to conjure up a different name for this game! I would forever be in your debt if you did!), which we do every single time we attend these meetings. We did what we do best. We gather up, and fool about. Regular old chatter, humorous situations, and things that never quite get old. These are the moments i enjoy the most, and what keeps hooked on said meetings.

Anyway, see you guys next time! I'll be sure to make the next one more longer!

Meet nr. 36!

Hi hi hi !!! ^-^ 

       Hope you enjoyed the last 2 meets, if you missed it, read the amazing review Norbi posted about meet nr. 34 and stay tuned for the one about nr. 35! ( if you haven't read it yet hurry up it's the post just under this one) . So it's been 2 weeks since we had our last meeting ... where does time fly so fast ? I guess you already know what this means ...*drums* time for another meeting this weekend!!! YEY !!! So Saturday on the 9th of March we will have a meeting from 4pm at our usual location which is Liceul Bolyai/Colegiul Reformat , you can always ask for exact location from other members or me via facebook ( you can find me as Neko Kurosaki ) .
       Oh before i forget this weeks selected theme is :

 Carnival !

     Rules : you must have 1 piece of clothing for the theme , like anything cat ears, a bow in your hair, guys can wear some weird color t-shirt, anything that is fun and will help us get in the carnival mood for the games and competitions ! Really any kind of really fun , colorful outfit will work, or you can take out your Halloween costume we won't mind, there will be space for changing also so you don't have to worry .

    After you heard the rules you will most probably say i am ....

      well shit happens :)) . I tell you the reason why i picked this theme ( not like i got it only because i didn't have better ideas ^-^""" ehehe ) but the winter was sooooo long and cold, it's time to bring some color and joy which will help us to get our mood back !

Now, i think we can all agree that we're all mature adults here, and we can settle this amicably; talk it out like civil, responsible, sensible people right? "What are we supposed to be doing again?"

So our very first get together's theme revolved around the day of the year that is loved and adored by all... oh i'm sorry, i was thinking about Christmas. The very first meeting's theme was one that is despised by some, hated by most, and loved by few, which is ironic given the nature of the holiday. St. Valentine's Day, that lovely occasion of the year when people are reminded of how lonely they are, and contemplate committing Seppuku. The select few who are enjoying the company of a love interest will surely bicker over some trivial matter or another. If you're one of the minute amount of people who actually enjoyed Valentine's day... well...

Enjoy it while you can...

Moving onto the events that actually unfolded at the meeting. 

It is advisable that you back the fuck off, nice and slowly, like right the fuck now.

My memory fails me, so here are the memories that i actually stashed away from the meeting. There was this weird creature there, supposedly called "a cupid", with wings and everything. She had an arrow with her. One arrow. One. You realize what this means? With being limited to a single arrow, imagine the amounts of gratuitous ass that said arrow gets. Hell, it's probably been' all over the place, pearcing backsides and breaking hearts. We tried to apprehend the fiend, but it crashed trough the ceiling and flew away, in a glorious spectacle of tremendous showmanship.

If you see this individual, please contact your local police force. We'd like to apprehend her as soon as possible, and convict her of multiple posterior abuse. Broken wings will be accounted for, and discounted from your reward.

Apart from the usual (which involves drinking, eating, idle banter, deafening shouting, more idle banter, playing the piano, and eating some more), we wrote little notes to our fellow brethren and sisters; we also enjoyed a game which involved choosing an anime pair of your liking, and attempting to guess the opposite team's pair via a series of questions (Gabi's creation). Naturally, everyone was so focused on winning that they picked pairings which were highly unlikely to be guessed by the rival team, and the game ended without a winner to speak of. This didn't take away from the pleasure of taking part in a game and having to work together to achieve a common goal, while reaping the benefits of being among friends and interacting with them in a creative fashion. I would have liked to win though. Phooey!

Pálma's miraculous flying boot made a return at meeting #34. No news on whether or not it'll be back for meeting #36.

All in all it was a pleasant meeting, and the very first one of the current year. I'm sure i've forgotten a lot of things, and confused some events regarding the last two meetings, so you'll just have to bear with that. The year changed, but the people didn't, which is a good thing. This, however, was just the beginning. Who knows what other  oddities, surprises and unexpected turn of events might befall us in the coming year? There's certainly a lot to look forward to, as winter is nearing it's end, and the smooth, caressing touch of summer is just over the horizon. Expect the unexpected! Dwelve into the unknown! And don't believe the hype!

 What's up doc? I bet everyone is either scared that this weekend like every other weekend will be crushed by the fenomen called Monday, either they are terrified, like me that the new semester in university is about to start. Now now no panic because we have something to cheer you up! Tomorrow 23rd of February we will have a relaxing little meeting from 3pm to 8 pm. we have a lot of nice activities prepeared for you guys some are leftovers from the Valentines meet so this meet will be called White day meeting! Meet nr 34 !!! Show your love for anime!*updated*

                             HI all ! ^-^


   Long time no see , right ? Time for the BIG after exams anime meet ! :D This weekends theme isssss..... *drums* Valentine's day!!! Now now don't get all freaked out and scared, since we are an anime club we will skip the cheesy-as-fuck parts and go OPPAN ANIME style !!!!! So this weekend , on saturday 16th of February we will have a meeting from 4pm, at our usuall location @Colegiul Reformat/Liceul Bolyai, we meet at the gate at 3:50 with those who don't know which is the classroom and get ready for all the fun waiting for you. Don't forget to bring your creativity, life energy and good mood with yourself.

Happy new Year! & Meeting annoncement

 Hi all ! ^-^ 

  Happy new year to those who i didn't met this year yet ! Sorry for not writing in the last let's say 2 weeks or 3 but i needed a break , i think we all needed. The new years party was super nice, hope next year we can go even more together to celebrate and spend a few days together in a chill way ^-^ .
   Hope all of you had fun, and are ready for this post-apocalypse  year :)) it's gonna be a busy one for the club with more meetings , more events and way more fun! :D
   Thanks to the fact that exam period is getting closer for university students from the club , including me, we won't have big meets until this period ends, meaning most probably we will have the next meeting on the 16th of February. But do not panic, we will have mini-meets either in Le&Le-cave or going out somewhere, maybe for a nice movie? Everyone will need a  few hour break during the session. So for the youngsters : Enjoy the last free week to the fullest ! For the university skippers...i mean students good luck at the exams , make us proud ! And for the "elders" .... keep up the good work ! XD .

Happy 2nd Birthdaaaay!!! - Birthday Party

Hi all! ^-^ 

  So the time is here to celebrate ! Our little club is growing up so fast ! I can't believe we will turn 2 in just a few days, we had our really first meeting on december the 18th 2010, to me it seems it was only yesterday when i was jumping up of joy that there were 7 persons on the meeting. Our second birthday party will be held on december 15th from 4pm , the location will be updated tomorrow, cuz we still have to ask for the classroom we usually hold our meetings ^-^. We will have special activities, more based on celebrating and having fun , and I will name the new honor members and of course the member of the year! I'm sure you are all curious who will get the prize this year. 

   We are waiting for everyone to join us, even if you never participated yet to a meeting, been there only once or didn't visit us in ages, this is a time to celebrate our existence and everyone is welcomed oldies and newies the more the merrier ^-^.
